Brief history

For the years 1988-2010, the company was then known as the Cagayan de Oro Steel Center Incorporated (COSCI). COSCI, then served as the outlet of National Steel Corporation (NSC), to market its product in Northern Mindanao Area. 

With its line-up of machineries, COSCI ventured also into general construction, as well as into Structural Design and Fabrication, Machine Design and Construction among others. Some of the projects undertaken by COSCI are the following Construction of the Transmission Lines of STEAG COAL FIRED POWER PLANT, 

Construction of the plant of Elegant Chemical Alloy Corp., Perimeter Fences of Philippine Sinter Corporation and STEAG COAL FIRED POWER PLANT.

However, with the closure of the National Steel Corporation (NSC), the Board of Directors of COSCI decided to also close its operation. As COSCI Managing Director, Mr. Almarco C. Brito, decided to purchase all the machineries of COSCI and decided to start a new company, known as AB ENGINEERING AND ALLIED SERVICES.

As such, while AB ENGINEERING AND ALLIED SERVICES just started last 2011, however it brings with it, the technology know how and the wealth of experiences of the Cagayan de Oro Steel Center, Inc..
